Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Region Group Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Leasing and Revenue Analytics, this role acts as a key finance partner to the Leasing and Property Operations teams, delivering insights that drive portfolio performance and growth. You'll lead budgeting and forecasting activities, analyse key leasing metrics, and provide recommendations that shape strategic decisions and optimise revenue outcomes.

This is a high-impact role that combines financial analysis, commercial acumen, and stakeholder partnership to influence long-term portfolio and revenue growth.

What you'll do:

  • Partner closely with the Leasing team and respective Regional Leasing Manager, owning the leasing performance of your assigned regions and driving initiatives that maximise revenue and portfolio outcomes.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for your regions, providing accurate assumptions, meaningful analysis, and proactive recommendations, utilising analytical skills, scenario modelling, and reporting tools in Yardi and Power BI to drive better outcomes.
  • Deliver data-driven insights on key leasing metrics including occupancy, rent spreads, vacancy rates, and leasing performance to inform strategic decisions and support the monthly board reporting process.
  • Take ownership of Investor Presentation deliverables, including the preparation of Q&A for analyst questions and senior executive review, and verification packs, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting of third line revenue, including Media, ATM, Vending Machine, CML, and Vacant Shop Income, ensuring robust assumptions and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement through better utilisation of Yardi and Power BI, enhancing the efficiency, automation, and impact of reporting and analysis.

About You

  • 2–4 years' experience in financial or management reporting, ideally in Retail Property, but open to other asset classes.
  • Strong experience as a Finance Business Partner, ideally supporting Leasing and/or Property Operations teams to deliver commercial insights and performance improvements.
  • Proven background in Financial Analysis, with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and present insights to senior leaders.
  • Experience working with large volume of data with strong attention to detail.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (CA/CPA ideal).

Good to Have

  • Solid understanding of leasing performance metrics, including occupancy, rent spreads, vacancy rates, and leasing outcomes.
  • Experience contributing to Investor Presentations, Q&A materials, and verification reports, ensuring high-quality and accurate outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation through enhanced system utilisation and data-led analytics.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI — building dashboards, Scenario Models, and delivering actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
