About the Role:

We are looking for an innovative Functions Manager to join our team.  This outstanding role will coordinate and manage a diverse range of meetings, functions, themed celebrations and events through proactive marketing and business development activities, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.  Reporting to an accomplished venue management team, this role will be highly visible and requires someone who thrives in a busy and demanding venue.

Some key responsibilities include:

·       work with the Venue Manager to implement the best customer experience - every day;

·       lead generation and developing a bookings schedule;

·       drive a functions and events spirit of enthusiasm and success, without losing sight of fun along the way;

·       apply sound business acumen to optimise bookings, scheduling and the running of the venue;

·       managing bookings and reservations - including phone and email enquiries;

·       invoicing and payments.

What we need:

A manager with demonstrated experience gained in a high end, fast paced environment.  Strong communication and organisation skills, underpinned by a commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.
