Are you ready to join Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks' expansion? Patterson Cheney Isuzu Pakenham is our newest truck dealership. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced dealership Service Advisor like you to join our new team and contribute to our growth.

About the role:
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as the critical link between customers and the workshop.
  • Schedule and manage customer service repair orders to ensure a clear understanding of their needs.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the servicing process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare invoices and efficiently close allocated repairs.
  • Provide insightful advice on our products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technicians and workshop control to ensure timely vehicle readiness.
  • Maintain transparency with customers regarding estimated completion times and updates.
  • Assist the Workshop Manager in resolving customer-related issues, building genuine rapport, and understanding their needs.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in light or heavy vehicles
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Sound organisational skills and time management
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach staff
  • Ability to neutralise conflict
  • Strong focus on CSI and positive customer experiences
  • Current Heavy Vehicle VIC Driver's license (ideal)
