About the role

As a Formwork Supervisor through Link-Force Au', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of complex formwork structures. Reporting to the Project Manager, this full-time position is based in sites around Perth, Western Australia. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled formwork carpenters, ensuring projects are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate a team of formwork carpenters to construct, install and dismantle formwork systems for concrete structures
  2. Develop and implement detailed work plans, schedules and procedures to meet project milestones and budgets
  3. Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the formwork process, identifying and resolving any issues promptly
  4. Ensure strict adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  5. Provide on-site training and mentoring to upskill the formwork team
  6. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to optimise formwork processes
  7. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to formwork activities

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) as a Formwork Supervisor or leading hand in the construction industry
  2. Strong understanding of formwork design, installation and dismantling procedures
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills
  4. In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, safety protocols and quality standards
  5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  6. Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
  7. Trade qualification in carpentry or a related construction discipline
