Role OverviewWe are seeking experienced Formworkers, Steelfixers and Riggers to join our construction crews across upcoming projects in Perth. These roles involve working as part of a skilled team delivering high-quality concrete and structural works in a fast-paced site environment.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Formworkers
- Interpret and work from construction drawings and formwork designs.
- Construct and install formwork for concrete structures such as footings, slabs, walls, columns, pits, culverts, and headstocks.
- Erect and dismantle conventional and modular formwork systems (e.g. PERI, Doka, RMD).
- Install edge forms, cast-in components, block-outs, and ensure readiness for concrete placement.
- Strip formwork safely and patch any surface imperfections as required.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in formwork carpentry
- Competence with modular formwork systems (PERI, RMD)
- Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
Steelfixers
- Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and bar schedules.
- Install reinforcement bars, mesh, and prefabricated cages in accordance with tolerances and pour sequences.
- Tie bars and mesh securely using appropriate tools.
- Coordinate with formwork and concrete crews to meet program requirements.
Required:
- Proven experience installing reinforcement steel on civil or structural projects
- Ability to read and interpret rebar drawings
- Skilled in tying bars, mesh, and installing prefabricated cages
Riggers
- Set up and inspect rigging equipment including slings, shackles, chains, and spreader bars.
- Safely rig, direct, and land loads including precast units, reinforcement bundles, and formwork systems.
- Interpret lift plans and communicate clearly with crane crews and site supervisors.
- Maintain lifting gear logs and ensure compliance with inspection and certification requirements.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction or precast rigging
- Valid High Risk Work Licence – Rigging (RI, RA)
- Strong understanding of load control, signaling, and lift planning
