Stratco is one of Australia's most iconic and trusted brands, supplying high-quality building and home improvement products for over 70 years. We're excited to be partnering with them to recruit a Business Development Manager to drive growth across South Australia.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll take ownership of a key territory, building strong relationships with builders, contractors, and Stratco's dealer network. You'll be the face of Stratco in the residential and commercial building sectors, helping customers choose the right products, ensuring projects run smoothly, and opening new doors for growth.

This is a consultative, customer-focused role where your ability to connect, problem solve, and deliver results will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Growth: Identify, target, and win new business opportunities with residential builders, subcontractors, and dealers.
  • Build Partnerships: Develop strong long-term relationships with key decision makers across the building industry.
  • Consult & Advise: Recommend tailored product solutions and provide technical expertise across Stratco's portfolio (roofing, fencing, sheds, verandas).
  • Deliver Results: Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth in South Australia.
  • Support Projects: Partner with clients throughout the sales cycle, from product selection to installation and after-sales care.
  • Market Expertise: Stay across industry trends, building codes, and competitor activity to keep customers informed and competitive.

About You

We're looking for someone who thrives in business development and has proven experience in the building products, construction, or technical sales space. You'll be motivated by results, but equally focused on providing excellent customer service and building trust.

  • Demonstrable sales or BDM experience in building products, construction, or aligned technical sales.
  • A strong track record in B2B sales, hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Integrity, reliability, and a customer-first approach.
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills, including CRM and MS Office.
  • A valid SA Driver's Licence.
