Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Rippling Full time $120,000 - $200,000 per year
About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.85B from the world's top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritise candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from addresses.

About the role

Rippling is one of the fastest growing startups on the planet ($0 $17B). And, despite what our

scale suggests, we're just getting started globally. Between scaling our current business,

expanding into new products, and unlocking international growth, we have a multi-billion dollar

opportunity ahead of us.

We're looking for an experienced, strategic Director of Demand Generation leader to build and

scale Rippling's marketing engine across APAC. You'll be responsible for building the plan and

executing full-funnel programs that drive pipeline and revenue — while also building and leading

a team of high-performing marketers in the region.

This role is a critical part of Rippling's international expansion and requires a blend of strategic

thinking, operational rigor, and hands-on execution. You'll partner closely with regional sales

leadership and cross-functional teams (Brand, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, SDRs)

to deliver high-impact demand and awareness programs across our core APAC markets:

Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, and India. This role is hybrid, based 3 days a week in our

Sydney office.

What you'll do
  • Own the APAC demand generation strategy and build a scalable, repeatable marketing engine that accelerates new logo ARR growth across the region.
  • Develop, execute, and optimise full-funnel campaigns (TOF, MOF, and BOFU) across channels: email, paid media, direct mail, webinars, content syndication, in-person events, partner marketing, and SDR outbound activations.
  • Build and lead a team of marketers, empowering them to own outcomes, execute with excellence, and grow into future leaders.
  • Partner with Sales and SDR leadership to ensure tight alignment and shared accountability for ARR/CAC targets.
  • Grow Rippling's brand awareness and affinity across APAC, ensuring we show up in culturally relevant and region-specific ways across Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and India.
  • Develop and grow our partner marketing muscle locally to strengthen our indirect acquisition and influence channels.
  • Own local product marketing and GTM strategy, including competitive intelligence, analyst relations, and localisation of global messaging/playbooks.
  • Collaborate with corporate brand and product marketing teams to localise global campaigns and leverage customer stories relevant to the region.
  • Own and track performance of the region, prioritise based on data and impact, and continuously iterate campaigns to improve efficiency and scale.

What you'll need

  • 12+ years in B2B demand generation / growth roles, ideally in SaaS or technology, with experiences managing and developing teams.
  • Proven track record of building full-funnel marketing programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience leading international / regional marketing in APAC and partnering closely with sales teams and US based cross functional corporate teams.
  • Ability to zoom in and execute, but also zoom out and build structure, process, and team.
  • Skilled at balancing creativity (brand building, storytelling) with data-driven decision making.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and speed matters.
  • Analytical mindset—you use data to guide strategy, prioritise programs, and optimise results.
  • Strong communicator—you can influence stakeholders across levels and functions, from
  • SDRs to country GMs.
  • Bias to action—you execute with urgency, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and aren't afraid to test, fail, and learn quickly.
  • Bonus: Experience marketing to HR and Finance buyers in APAC regions.
