We are partnering with a leading independent investment bank with an exceptional track record advising on high-profile M&A and capital markets transactions across Australia. The firm is known for its strong deal flow, collaborative culture, and deep relationships across listed corporates, private equity, and global conglomerates.

We are seeking an Investment Banking Analyst with a minimum of 1.5 years of M&A or corporate advisory experience to join their high-performing team in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a rare opportunity to join a Tier 1 boutique offering exposure to complex transactions and one of the strongest pipelines of work in the nation from day one. You will be on multiple $500m+ sized transactions upon joining.

Key Responsibilities:


• Execution of M&A and capital markets transactions across a range of sectors.


• Preparation of financial models, valuation materials and transaction materials.


• Conducting due diligence and market research to support live mandates and pitches.


• Working closely with Associates and senior bankers to deliver end-to-end transaction execution.

Requirements:


• 1.5–4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance.


• Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.


• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.


• A motivated and collaborative approach with a strong interest in corporate advisory.
