Analyst / Associate – Leading Global Independent Investment Bank | Sydney

This opportunity offers the chance to join a flat, collegiate team where you'll work directly alongside senior bankers, gaining exposure to every aspect of the deal process - from valuation and modelling to due diligence, negotiation, and client management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support and execute M&A and strategic advisory mandates across multiple sectors.
  • Build detailed financial models, perform valuation analysis, and prepare transaction materials.
  • Conduct company and industry research to support live deals and new opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior bankers and clients on all phases of transaction execution.
  • Contribute to the team's strong culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 1–4 years' experience in M&A, corporate finance, or transaction services (Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory, or Big 4).
  • Solid financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to contribute from day one.
  • Exposure to a range of industries and transaction types.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong integrity, work ethic, and professional maturity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.
