Our client is a leading independent advisory firm operating across Australia, New Zealand & Asia. They have a highly successful transaction track record, providing M&A, capital raisings and restructuring across a broad range of industry sectors, including real assets, industrials, healthcare, retail, consumer, technology and financial sponsors. This long-established independent firm will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain leading industry experience within a high calibre team where there is local decision-making capability and a focus on driving the performance of the domestic business.

The firm are currently looking for an Analyst to join their team in Sydney. This individual will work alongside a collegiate team and in support of senior bankers to help execute transactions across the full lifecycle, including valuation, financial modelling, financial analysis, preparing critical board-level documentation and due diligence. Working alongside highly respected industry specialists, you will benefit from exceptional mentoring with opportunities for professional development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years of M&A/Corporate Finance experience from an investment bank, corporate advisory firm or big 4 CA firm
  • Experience across various sectors
  • Strong financial modelling & financial analysis capabilities
  • Strong integrity & work ethic
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related disciplines
