As the Assistant Accountant you will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller and you will take ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Fixed Asset Register
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • General Ledger Maintenance
  • Assisting with Month-End and Year-End processes
  • Tax Compliance Assistance (BAS & FBT Lodgements)
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Compliance & Internal Controls

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline
  • CA or CPA part-qualified
  • +2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with large ERP and EMS (Netsuite & Concur highly regarded)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks within a fast paced environment, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality

  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity
