The Senior QA Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met across production processes in the FMCG industry. This permanent position is based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and offers a rewarding opportunity to work within the engineering and manufacturing department.

Description

  • Monitor and maintain quality assurance protocols across production processes.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address quality concerns.
  • Document and report quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the QMS, HACCP WQA and BRC.
  • Train staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure all materials and finished products meet defined specifications.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality

Profile
A Successful Senior QA Officer Should Have

  • A background in quality assurance within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, HACCP, WQA and BRC.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently when senior management are not present
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvement.
