We're looking for a Senior Credit Analyst – Mortgages to sit inside the business, take ownership of the mortgage pipeline, and deliver smooth, well-structured deals for our clients.

Your new opportunity

Working from our Mascot office, you'll be the internal go-to for all Residential and Commercial Mortgage work.

You won't be expected to generate your own leads. Instead, you'll receive warm referrals from our Equipment Finance, Insurance and Accounting teams, and focus on:

• understanding client needs,
• structuring deals properly, and
• driving applications through to formal approval and settlement.

Your success is measured by quality of deals, turnaround time and client outcomes, not by chasing your own pipeline.

What you'll do

• Manage a pipeline of internal mortgage referrals from our existing client base and internal teams (no cold prospecting).
• Assess client needs and structure loan applications for home loans, investment lending and commercial property loans across multiple lenders and platforms.
• Package and submit deals to lenders with clean, accurate applications that minimise back-and-forth and speed up approvals.
• Liaise with lenders, aggregators and internal stakeholders to negotiate outcomes, clear conditions and ensure timely approvals and settlements.
• Collaborate with our Equipment Finance, Insurance and Accounting teams to deliver integrated, "whole of client" finance solutions.
• Maintain high compliance standards – accurate documentation, record-keeping and adherence to regulatory and aggregator policies.
• Contribute to process improvement, giving feedback on credit, lender policy and workflow so we can keep tightening up how we do mortgages internally.

What you'll bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Mortgage Broker, Senior Credit Advisor or Credit Analyst, with exposure to both Residential and (ideally) some Commercial lending.
• Strong working knowledge of lender policies, servicing calculators, credit structures and documentation requirements.
• Proven ability to structure complex deals, identify potential issues early and position applications for approval.
• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (Diploma preferred) or previous experience in credit analysis with major lenders/aggregators.
• High attention to detail, strong written documentation skills and a process-driven, organised way of working.
• A genuine client-first mindset – you care about keeping clients informed and making the process simple for busy business owners.
