About the Role

Clarity Partners is partnering with a well-known Not-for-Profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of both people and animals.

We are seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and capable HR Manager to play a pivotal role in leading and modernising the People & Culture function as the organisation embarks on a period of significant cultural and operational transformation.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Team, this is a hands-on leadership role that demands both strategic insight and operational delivery. If you are a seasoned HR professional ready to roll up your sleeves to design the contemporary HR strategy, uplift policies, and champion a people-first approach, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a contemporary People & Culture strategy that aligns with organisational goals and values.
  • Partner with leaders to enhance people's capability, performance, and engagement.
  • Drive initiatives focused on culture, wellbeing, and workforce development across a diverse workforce.
  • Provide guidance on all HR matters, including recruitment, ER/IR, policy interpretation, and compliance.
  • Contribute to the review and improvement of HR processes, frameworks, and systems to meet best practices.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and coach to leaders and employees, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Support WHS, risk, and employee relations with a pragmatic, people-first approach.

About You

  • 5-8 years of generalist HR experience, ideally within the Not-for-Profit, community, or public sectors.
  • Proven success supporting HR transformation or organisational change projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment legislation, ER/IR, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — you're approachable yet assertive.
  • A hands-on, solutions-driven approach with the ability to manage both strategic and operational priorities.
  • A genuine commitment to purpose-led work and fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
