Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a newly created Senior Legal Counsel/Legal Counsel (Employment) position working for an exciting and high growth ESG focused Australian Technology & Infrastructure company.

Reporting into a Head of Legal you will be joining an impressive team of 8 legal professionals. This position offers you the opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions being Australia, North America with potential expansion into Europe.

With a focus on Employment responsibilities include:

  • Provide legal advice on a broad range of employment topics with a cross-border focus
  • Work close with the People team
  • Manage contacts of employment, employee separation, performance management and disciplinary procedures
  • global mobility, reward (incentives and compensation) and compliance
  • Review and draft workplace policies and procedures, create templates and provide training to the business
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments which may impact the organisation and work with internal stakeholders to develop a response to those developments
  • Manage relationships with external counsel

The ideal candidate will be at least c5-8-year PQE level with a law firm background and demonstrable experience in employment law. The role offers a truly international scope and would suit someone comfortable working with complex legal frameworks and cross-border teams. Salary dependant on experience and STI + shares/options.
