What will your new day look like?
This role will be responsible for conducting building and property inspections and overseeing varying work types, programs, projects, and building-related maintenance activities for a large portfolio of properties. Working to a time-bound schedule you will deliver an excellent customer service experience while observing regulatory, quality and safety obligations and meeting service level agreements. Your primary duties will include:
- Ensure accurate and high-quality service is delivered to our clients in a timely manner
- Provide outstanding service that demonstrates Evolve Housing's values and makes a real difference to client's lives
- Conducting regular inspections and diagnosing defects
- Coordinating approved repairs and maintenance matters efficiently and within agreed timeframes
- Working collaboratively within the Resident Services team, in particular the Customer Contact Centre, to ensure upkeep of properties within portfolio
- Monitoring, auditing and supervising contractor performance ensuring contractors are meeting their contractual obligations
- Effectively monitor contractors' performance against service level agreements, expectations and compliance with internal, legal and regulatory requirements
- Undertake work and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to LAHC and other compliance reporting requirements in a timely manner.
- Carry out general administration duties as required such as preparing letters, reports, contract management, office estimating etc.
- Coordinate programs, activities, processes, plans and build relationships with the Property Services and Customer Contact Centre teams

Some important things you will need to begin this journey
- A trade qualification (Cert III or equivalent) complemented by demonstrable experience and knowledge in a similar position.
- Experience in office estimating, report costing and contract management.
- Experience dealing with Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties (desirable).
- Proven commitment to delivering an excellent customer service experience.
- The ability to effectively plan and organise your own workload.
- Communicate effectively, appropriately and with empathy and compassion.
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse, and at times, challenging customers.
- Strong MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
- Work as an effective team member and contribute to positive outcomes.
- Current driver license and right to drive in Australia.
- Possession of a Builders/Supervisors license (desirable)
