This role will accelerate your skillset by exposing you to a broad range of taxation issues that you will be required to learn and implement across our client base.

The Role

As a growing practice, we have an opportunity to offer a role to an intermediate to senior accountant to join our team.

You will work with your team under the guidance and assistance of your Manager and Director. The role will require you to work with our clients to assist them in meeting their taxation obligations, together with any additional services they may require.

The key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):

· Maintaining and developing the relationship with our clients;

· Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts (both Discretionary & Unit Trusts) & Partnerships;

· Experience with any accounting software system is required;

· Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Individuals (Both Sole Traders and those part of the family business group);

· Tax Planning for business clients and family groups;

· Working with and assisting fellow accountants to ensure that the work prepared by the firm is compliant with current taxation laws and regulations; and

· Ad hoc tasks as requested by our clients (For example, cash flow forecasts & budgeting).

Qualifications & Skills we are looking for

· Between 2 – 5 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm;

· CA Qualified or progressing through the CA Program;

· Must have commenced the CA Program;

· Strong technical expertise and leadership potential

· Excellent communication skills (both email & verbal); and

· Proactive and can do attitude.
