About the Position

The Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for analysing current business processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing strategic initiatives to optimise organisational workflows. This role combines analytical rigor with practical implementation skills to drive measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost reduction across all functional areas. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to eliminate waste, streamline operations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Must Have Skills

  • Analyse current business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement across production, logistics, and business operations
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) framework
  • Conduct comprehensive process mapping and workflow documentation to visualise current and future state processes
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and develop sustainable solutions
  • Gather, interpret, and analyse process data using analytics platforms to support improvement initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools, Six Sigma principles, or Kaizen methodologies
  • Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive consensus for change
  • Create comprehensive process documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Provide training and coaching to staff on new processes and improvement methodologies
  • Manage end-to-end change processes within established change management frameworks to ensure successful adoption
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and coordinate improvement activities
  • Conduct cost assessments and measure company waste to eliminate inefficiencies
  • Benchmark processes against industry best practices and standards
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on process improvements and outcomes
  • Maintain process libraries and version control for published processes and procedures
  • Provide regular project status updates and reporting to management on key responsibilities and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies in process designs
  • Identify and manage resources for process improvement projects and coordinate project timelines

Technologies and Experience

  • Lean Six Sigma: Experience in Yellow Belt and Above
  • BPMN Experience: Using and implementing the fundamentals of BPMN
  • Process Mapping Experience: Proven experience in developing process maps suited for executive, management, and front-line staff.
  • Change Management: Experience implementing the change process
