We're on the hunt for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to take the reins of this incredible beachfront wedding and accommodation venue. More than just a role, this is a lifestyle – a chance to live and work in paradise, leading an amazing team and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Jervis Bay, with potential live-in accommodation for the right candidate.
About the Role
At The Cove, no two days are the same. One day you might be overseeing a beachfront wedding for 100 guests under the stars, the next you're walking the grounds, greeting guests, or fine-tuning strategies to drive growth.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring the entire operation – from accommodation and food & beverage to weddings, guest services and grounds / maintenance
- Being the face of the venue, setting the tone for service and culture
- Driving occupancy, revenue and long-term growth
- Rolling up your sleeves and being hands-on when needed – because at The Cove, everyone's part of the action
- Building a tight-knit, motivated team who love what they do
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years' experience as a General Manager or senior hospitality leader (hotels, resorts or weddings/events)
- A proven track record in operations, guest experience and financial performance
- A natural leader who can coach, motivate and build culture
- A quick thinker and problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences
