The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and inspirational HR Manager to help build and manage our growing team at V-DAQ. This role is pivotal in helping us attract, develop, and retain the right talent to support our ambitious growth plans. This role is initially focused at taking HR operations and administration off managing directors and team leads, with the opportunity of progressing to take ownership of core people operations — from recruitment and onboarding through to employee engagement, performance, and culture-building. You'll work closely with our Managing Directors is all aspects of HR. Responsibilities:

  • Administrate HR operations
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies
  • Support employee engagement, performance management, and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety regulations
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs
  • Manage employee benefits and compensation programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
  • Help build an epic culture

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Experience working in an engineering, technology or scientific industry
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
  • Experienced using HR software/tools
  • Desired: Experience working in scaling organisations
