What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing files in commercial litigation, insolvency, and insurance law
  • Taking full carriage of matters – from the first client meeting to a final resolution including developing strategic approaches
  • Preparing for and attending court hearings, mentions, mediations and conferences
  • Providing practical, commercial legal advice to a wide range of clients
  • Developing and maintaining strong referral and client relationships
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff

What You Bring:

  • Solid experience in insurance and/or commercial litigation law, including dispute resolution
  • A current NSW practising certificate and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong technical and procedural knowledge of relevant court processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A client-focused, ethical, and commercially-minded approach
  • A desire to build the business's client base and contribute to business development through networking and events
