About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people experiencing complex mental health challenges? Join our dedicated team at Canberra Health Services (CHS) and help shape recovery-focused care for young people across the ACT.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Cottage Program is a unique, therapeutic group program that supports up to 12 young people aged 12–18 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties that have impacted their ability to attend school. With a strong recovery focus, the program provides structured group and individual interventions to reduce mental health symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and enhance engagement in education and vocational pathways.
As a key member of this small and supportive multidisciplinary team, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support recovery-focused care planning.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and community services to promote continuity of care and successful re-engagement with education or training.
- Contribute to the development of young people's social, emotional, and independent living skills, building confidence and resilience for future transitions.

- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
