We are looking for a seasoned and proactive finance leader to step in and ensure the continued excellence and stability of our finance and settlement operations during a temporary period.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and proactive accountant for a 3-month contract to own and execute our core month-end close and financial reporting processes. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and accurate period-end while our senior leadership is occupied with other strategic priorities. It is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned professional who excels in a focused, project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Month-End Close Process
: Manage the end-to-end month-end and financial reporting cycle for the group, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Financial Control & Reconciliation
: Perform and review key balance sheet reconciliations (including bank, intercompany, and suspense accounts). Ensure the integrity of the general ledger.

Management & Financial Reporting
: Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules for the leadership team.

·     
Sales & Commission Reporting
: Own the end-to-end process for calculating, validating, and reporting sales and program manager commissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for payroll processing.

·     
Audit Support
: Assist with the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits as required.

Who You Are

You are a detail-oriented, hands-on accountant with a deep understanding of the month-end process from start to finish. You are a self-starter who can work independently to meet tight deadlines and ensure the accuracy of financial data and reports. You are available for an immediate start.

Essential Skills & Experience

·     CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).

· years of experience in accounting roles with direct responsibility for month-end close.

·     Proven experience in preparing management and financial reports.

·     Advanced Excel skills; experience with major ERP systems (e.g., Xero) is advantageous.

·     Previous experience in managing the calculation and reporting of sales commissions is highly desirable.

·     Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
