Assistant Finance Manager (Management Accounting) | Bank of China | Sydney

Bank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Assistant Finance Manager (Management Accounting) to join the Sydney Office.

This is a Two Years Maximum Term contract role, subject to review for an on-going position after contract period.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist on establishment and execution of annual budget on the Bank level, Business Line level as well as B.U. level
  • Assist on preparation of review and monitoring of budget execution and perform analysis to assist decision making
  • Assist on preparation of financial performance analysis on Bank level, Business Level, and B.U. level, assist B.U. to perform analysis on product level
  • Assist on preparation of data analysis on pricing and assets and liability management of the Bank, provide insight to B.U and Management
  • Assist on coordinating and execution of financial KPI performance review of the Bank, and B.U
  • Assist on monitoring the progress and of KPI of the Bank and preparation of analysis;

To be considered, possessing following skills and experience are essential:

  • 1-3 years' experience in banking industry, corporate banking or similar
  • 3 years' accounting professional experience
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Data related areas
  • Ability to develop detailed plan and organize variety of tasks and projects to achieve goals
  • Ability to get point of view across clearly and concisely
  • Ability to use effective questioning techniques to understand customer need
  • Good technical skills in MS Office and data analysis
  • Strong problem solving skills and self-motivate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writing skills in English and Mandarin
