Contracts Manager | Darling Harbour Live

Part time - 3 days a week

Capella Capital is searching for a 3 day a week part-time Contracts Manager to work with the Darling Harbour Live (DHL) consortium.

The DHL is made up of a diverse range of experienced partners which include Capella Capital, ASM Global, Downer (formerly Spotless), HOSTPLUS, Aware Super and Lend Lease.

DHL is responsible for financing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the new Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct ('ICC Sydney') facilities at Darling Harbour. ICC Sydney has reinstated Darling Harbour as Australia's premier gathering place giving both local and international visitors a dynamic and vibrant precinct to experience and enjoy.

The Contracts Manager will focus on:

  • Commercial and administrative matters arising from overseeing contractual interactions between the project partners.
  • Administration of, and compliance with, complex contracts including the Project Deed, Facilities Management Contract, Operator Agreement, financing agreements, tenancy agreements with the Associated Business Outlets (ABO) and all other associated contractual obligations.
  • The role will also have a vertical interface with the State's team ensuring timely responses to the PPP's stakeholders are being met and contractual information flow is managed appropriately.
  • Relationship management of all project stakeholders through a comprehensive understanding and governance of the holistic commercial and contractual project arrangements applicable to the various parties.
  • This role will be working in an existing team of three Capella, is part time, focused on DHL, and located in Darling Harbour, Sydney. The successful candidate must be prepared to work from this location.
