About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and hard-working individual with excellent organisational and communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will have the ability to work quickly, efficiently and methodically and have in depth knowledge and experience of working within a regulated environment.
The successful individual will be required to work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Legal and Governance and be accountable for the design and implementation of the risk monitoring and control testing, across multiple ANZ classes of business, and ANZ. The individual will therefore need proven track record to prioritise workload, multitask and manage stakeholder relationships. The individual will join our energetic, fast paced, dynamic company on a full time, permanent basis.
Role responsibilities
- Risk Frameworks:
- Support reporting and monitoring, including internal controls and SOX-style compliance.
- Ensures effective Control testing is implemented and enhanced.
- Updating risk and obligation registers and associated corporate internal and external compliance policies
- Financial Crime: Oversee reporting and compliance with financial crime requirements.
- Privacy: Oversee reporting and compliance with privacy requirements.
- Audit Coordination: Assist with carrier and group audits, collaborating closely with business units and auditors.
- Incident Management: Investigate breaches, monitor remediation, and ensure reporting.
- Third-Party Monitoring: Onboarding, due diligence, and compliance for third parties vendors
- Committee Support: Provide assistance and reports at committee and stakeholder meetings.
- Proactively and collaboratively works with the business to enrich the risk culture at DUAL.
About you
You're an experience professional with a strong background in insurance, compliance and risk management. You bring a solid understanding of ASIC, APRA, and Code of Practice standards, along with sharp analytical skills to identify and resolve compliance issues. Your communication style is clear and effective, allowing you to engage confidently with both internal and external stakeholders. You are proactive, methodical, and results-driven, you thrive in regulated environments and are committed to maintaining high standards.
