The Role: This Government Department is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to provide technical leadership in the design, development and optimisation of solutions across our Salesforce ecosystem.

The Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex, scalable solutions across multiple Salesforce instances.
  • Lead the modernisation, support, and upgrade of key Salesforce systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or other GitHub-integrated tools.
  • Ensure code is automatically tested, reviewed, and deployed through structured workflows from development to production.
  • Work with Product, Architecture, and senior stakeholders to define strategic technical approaches.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 8+ years experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions across multiple instances, with deep knowledge of platform best practices and architecture.
  • Expertise in driving development standards, deployment strategies, and quality assurance across Salesforce development teams.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills - able to lead the resolution of complex technical and architectural challenges.
  • Proven leadership in mentoring and developing team members across multiple levels of experience.
  • Confident and nuanced communication and influencing skills - able to engage confidently with senior leaders, architects, and delivery teams.
