Our team is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Payroll Administrator to join our Sydney team based in Gregory Hills. If you're passionate about people, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and are ready to start your HR journey, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on opportunity that's ideal for someone who has a is looking to start their career in administration. The Payroll Administrator for Altus Group plays a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring compliance with our payroll systems, assisting payroll in weekly close offs and other parts of the business when required.  The role encompasses operational aspects, including assisting with recruiting field-based traffic control staff (fieldworkers).

The administrator will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to provide effective and efficient administration support while maintaining high standards of communication, professionalism and customer service while undertaking additional ad hoc duties under the direction of the, Staff Engagement Business Partner and the General Manager.

You'll be the friendly and organised go-to person who ensures new team members are ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

· Assisting with weekly the payroll process from timesheets to payment ensuring accuracy and compliance.

· Organising and ensuring deadlines are met within timely manner

· Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to resolve pay quires

· Support audits, reporting and system improvements

· Assisting other parts of the business where required

· Successfully completing a company provided training in Certificate IV in Business Administration
