We are looking for a talented Workshop technician to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance with our automotive on-highway, mining, industrial, and marine customers at our Tomago branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
  • Diagnose and repair engines
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive Hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
  • Overtime paid as penalty rates for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
  • Experience in Cummins products is highly advantageous
  • HR/HC License is also preferred
