Qualified Motor Mechanic / Auto Service Technician.

Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto, Huntlee (Branxton, NSW 2335)

Full Time / 5 day week plus overtime available Saturday mornings with above award wages.

Ability to Earn above some great $$ , and still maintain a great work / family life balance and work in a new fully equipped workshop with the latest diagnostic tools. (No shift / night work)

This excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and qualified Automotive Technician to join our team, and to begin a career within Claydon's Tyre and Auto Pty Ltd at our Bridgestone Select site in Huntlee in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years automotive experience.

Bridgestone Select not only fits tyres, but we specialise in automotive diagnosis and servicing of all makes and models. We have created a proud history of servicing the local community who rely on our expertise and with this, we are looking for a 2nd mechanic to join our team to continue keeping up with the demand at the store.

Claydon's Tyre and Auto Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business that has recently acquired the Bridgestone Select Tyre and Auto store in the fast-growing Huntlee Estate with ambitions to grow and acquire more stores in the future. This role reports directly to the franchisee owner who also works in store, and will be responsible for delivering exceptional and efficient mechanical repairs and maintenance to our loyal customer base's vehicles.

Key duties will include but are not limited to:

· Auto Servicing and Small Mechanical repairs

· General servicing and diagnosis of engine management

· Suspension and brake replacement

· Delivery of exceptional customer service.

The role is for a 5-day working week plus Saturday Morning overtime available on a rotating roster.

The applicant will need to be professional, with a reliable attitude, extensive mechanical knowledge, and experience with a variety of makes and models of vehicles. Candidates need to show an ability to work independently as well as part of a team, exhibit effective time management skills and have the ability to comply with OHS policies and procedures. As well as having good communication skills and a friendly disposition, you will possess a keen eye for detail, be punctual, and responsible.

Requirements

· A valid NSW Trade Qualification is required, as well as a valid manual driver's license.

· AIS Pink Slip ticket an advantage but not essential. (The right applicant will be taken through the process to gain this qualification at no cost to them)

· Australian work rights are required for this position.

· Certificate III Automotive qualification is required.
