Upper Hunter Automotive is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our high-performing team in Muswellbrook.

We're especially interested in factory-trained specialists, but also encourage applications from experienced dealership technicians who have worked with the brands we represent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a modern, well-equipped workshop - and enjoy the benefit of a full time Monday to Friday work week only.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you'll be a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic / Technician with either:

  • Factory training from major automotive brands, OR
  • Proven dealership experience with one or more of the manufacturers we service.

You will also bring:

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • A professional, hands-on approach with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A current open manual driver's licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Valid Pink Slip (eSafety) Certification
  • Current RHL
  • Air Conditioning Licence

You will be responsible for general service and repair, high level diagnosis, major component replacement, wheel alignments, and hybrid and electric vehicle diagnosis.
