Responsibilities
- Develop a Channel Partner Strategy and Plan for Geospatial solutions in ANZ
- Apply specialized technical knowledge of architectural design to translate and interpret client requirements, communicating with developers to ensure feasibility and alignment of potential channel partner requirements.
- Utilize advanced technical product knowledge to identify potential technical challenges and opportunities for optimization within new customer and partner workflows, influencing them to consider Hexagon's solutions.
- Proactively engage with potential partners to establish relationships in advance of potential new business, aiding the Pre-Sales and Delivery teams, as well as CRMs, in future work planning.
- Collaborate with various teams including Regional Sales, Marketing for lead generation, and Pre-Sales for technical expertise.
- Oversee tender activities by overseeing technical aspects and coordinating contributions of each person required for the tender. Work closely with partners to ensure Hexagon's part of the tender is in line with customer requirements.
- Be strategic, conducting extensive market and economic research to develop targeted strategies per your segment, creating medium to long-term partnership plans.
- Collaborate closely with regional Sales leads to ensure a united approach to selling and supporting customers, particularly through a channel partnership model.
- Contribute to forecasting where required, ensuring accuracy and alignment to Medium Term Financial Planning (MTFP) targets
Education / Qualifications
As a Geospatial Partner Manager Pre-sales Specialist (GSP) ANZ, you'll report to the GM NZ & Director of Customer Success. You will be responsible for driving new business growth by establishing channel partnerships across Australia and New Zealand. Your strategy will be informed by in-depth market and economic research to devise targeted approaches and establish medium-to-long-term partnerships.
You will collaborate closely with the Director of Customer Success ANZ and regional Sales leads to ensure a unified approach in sales and customer support. A key aspect of your role will involve engaging with potential channel partners before tenders are issued, supporting the Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success teams in planning for future work.
Your technical architecture skills are critical to the position as you will be responsible for comprehending and translating client requirements and facilitating discussions with developers. Utilizing your pre-sales expertise, and collaborating with other pre-sales resources and marketing teams, you will drive lead generation through partners and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process. Additionally, you will oversee tender activities in specialized areas, managing the contributions required of all those involved.
You will be responsible for developing a Channel Partner strategy & support Pre-sales across Australia and New Zealand in the Geospatial portfolio, where a deep understanding of this market segment will be crucial for excelling in this role.
Skills & Abilities
- Should have a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience from Geospatial industry with strong channel development
- Tertiary level qualification in IT or relevant discipline
- Tertiary level qualification in Business or other relevant discipline
- Experience in a Sales or Presales role in Geospatial solutions
- Experience in selling cloud technology solutions highly desirable
- Excellent influencing, communication and relationship-building skillsStrong forecasting and numerical abilities
- Sales-driven mindset
- Good accountability, strong self-direction and motivation
- Proficient in commercial & contractual negotiations
- Technical acumen at a product level and affinity for technology. Passionate for our technology and customer purpose
- Ability to drive sales across multiple new logos and existing accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proactive in identifying customer needs and potential solutions
- Forecast revenue accurately
