Senior Business Development Manager
to join our Oceania leadership team and spearhead strategic initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building businesses, solving complex challenges, and leveraging geospatial solutions to create tangible business value.

As a key player in our team, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of customers, including transport providers, government agencies, emergency services, and tech innovators, who rely on our industry-leading maps and location services to drive productivity and safety outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to shape HERE's Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, mentor emerging talent, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

In This Role You Will

  • Create Impact - Drive innovation in location-based solutions for critical industries.
  • Provide Leadership - Influence high-level strategy while coaching and empowering teams.
  • Bring about Growth - Own the GTM plan and achieve quotas for our growing Transport, Emergency Services and Government sectors, and support the broader business objectives

Your Main Responsibilities Include

  • Transforming HERE's Platform offerings into solutions that drive measurable customer impact
  • Taking responsibility for assigned booking and revenue targets
  • Building and nurturing C-level partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor to key accounts.
  • Leading sales strategies, pipeline management, and large-scale tenders (RFI/RFP) for public and private sectors.
  • Partnering with internal teams (Marketing, Legal, Product) to align solutions with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Forecasting revenue, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize performance.

Who are you?
You will have success on this role if you possess the following qualifications, skills, competencies and experience

  • A Degree in business, technology or related fields
  • 15+ years in B2B sales as a 'hunter', preferably in technology, SaaS, or geospatial/location services.
  • Validated experience of outperforming sales targets.
  • Expertise in location technologies (e.g., GIS, telematics, mapping APIs) and their commercial applications is nice to have.
  • A strong network in ANZ's transport, government, or tech sectors, with experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Ability to grow a business, mentor teams, challenge norms, and craft winning strategies in competitive markets
  • Ability to solve problems and an ability at scaling solutions across industries.
  • Validated communication and stakeholder management skills.
