The Opportunity:
Bring your drafting expertise to projects that truly matter, from striking medium-density developments to essential social housing. Based in Richmond, you'll be part of a collaborative team where your designs come to life and make a lasting difference in the community.

What you'll be doing
• Creating and refining concept designs tailored to each project.
• Preparing accurate planning submissions and permit ready working drawings.
• Liaising with engineers to ensure structural requirements are integrated seamlessly.
• Ensuring designs meet NCC, Building Codes, Australian Standards, 7-star energy ratings, Rescode, Council planning, and OH&S requirements.
• Troubleshooting and providing practical design solutions as challenges arise.
• Driving product quality improvements and exploring new construction design opportunities.
What we're looking for
• At least 8 years' experience in the building and construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of building codes, planning requirements, and OH&S standards.
• Experience in both medium-density and residential town planning.
• Proven ability to take projects from initial concept to detailed working drawings.
• High attention to detail and solid knowledge of building processes.
• Bonus points for experience delivering Social or Special Disability Housing projects.
