About the role

Located in South East Melbourne, this Commercial HVAC Company are seeking an experienced Draftsperson who will play a crucial role in designing and drafting mechanical plans for various HVAC systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs, drawings, and schematics for HVAC systems
  • Interpreting engineering specifications and calculations to ensure accurate technical documentation
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams, including project managers and installers, to coordinate the implementation of HVAC designs
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, codes, and regulations to inform your design work
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our drafting processes and standards

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson, ideally in the HVAC industry
  • Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, to produce detailed technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret engineering data and develop practical design solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate technical documentation
