About the role

Lucas Dental Care is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in Glen Iris, Victoria. This is a full-time position (36 hours over 4 days) that will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our busy practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures
  • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available
  • Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
  • Greeting and welcoming patients, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Attending General Anesthetics with our Paediatric Dentists throughout Melbourne

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years' experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent patient care
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently
  • A team-player attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
