Morgan Glen Iris (MGI) is an assisted living community in Glen Iris, nestled in the beautiful Back Creek Reserve. With 62 apartments, restaurant, café, salon, gym, cinema, art studio, medical consulting suite and 24/7 staffing, we provide outstanding services to people aged 70+ so that they can remain independent for as long as possible.
About the role
We are after Junior Concierges to join our team. This position will work with our Concierge team to act as the first point of contact with a strong customer service focus.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Deliver great customer service to residents, families, guests and the public.
- Respond to queries and requests about services, programs and events relating to MGI.
- Contribute, provide and distribute correspondence as required.
- Order and re-order supplies within delegated limits.
- Support the residents in arranging services.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be:
- You have basic understanding technology requirements including emails and Microsoft Office Suite.
- You are enthusiastic and passionate about finding new and innovative ways of doing things.
- You have great problem solving skills, you're comfortable working with change.
- You have good written and verbal English communication skills.
- You have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- A police check – or willing to obtain
- First aid and CPR and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certified. If you don't have these qualifications, we can help get them if you join the team.
Desirable:
- Aspiration to become a Concierge leader.
- Experienced working in a Front office, Guest Services or customer facing role.
- Experience in using Customer Relationship Management software.
Hours on Offer
- Permanent Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
- Or Permanent Part Time (Job-Share), Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

- $27 - $28 per hour + super + salary packaging
