About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at the Prosthodontic Centre in Glen Iris, Victoria. This is a part-time position (Thursdays and Fridays, with potential opportunity for a 3rd day), working closely along an experienced clinician, in a boutique practice in a close-knit, supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Chair-side assisting during prosthodontic and surgical implant procedures. No days filled with check-up and cleans
  • Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
  • Oversee clinical stock management and surgery setup
  • Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns
  • Supporting the dental team with various administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, with Cert III in Dental Assisting (Cert IV advantageous)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
  • A genuine interest in dentistry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Proficiency with dental software and clinical photography advantageous
