We're Hiring: Part-Time Talent Acquisition Business Partner

(Education sector experience critical)

Melbourne-based | Part-Time | Ultra-Flexible | Onsite 1 Day per week with client (SE Suburbs) and every second Wednesday at Businessary in East Melbourne

Are you a skilled recruiter with experience in the education industry looking for a flexible part-time opportunity with real impact?

Businessary Talent is expanding and we're on the lookout for a recruitment professional who can balance autonomous work with client-facing engagement. This role is ideal for someone who wants flexibility and variety and who gets energy from working directly with great people.

About the Role

  • Part-time hours – we're flexible on what this looks like days or 5 x days school hours)
  • Work remotely most of the time
  • Be available to attend onsite client meetings (Melbourne-based) once per week and every second Wednesday at Businessary office in East Melbourne
  • Run end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles with a focus on the education sector
  • Join a small passionate team led by Jason Burns. We're seasoned, practical and deeply connected in the talent space. Our mission is to deliver for our clients and safeguard our flexible work arrangements

What You'll Do

  • Own recruitment processes: briefings, sourcing, interviewing and offer management
  • Build trust and deliver real value in every interaction
  • Contribute ideas to continuously improve how we do talent at Businessary

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in recruitment with exposure to the education sector
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and candidates
  • Confidence and seasoned enough to work independently but also be part of a tight-knit team; we hire adults who adult
  • Willingness to be present onsite at our client in the southeast suburbs
  • A genuine, no-ego, no hero attitude. We're professional, smart and low drama (and a bit sweary in private)
