About The Role
As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping V/Line's workforce by partnering closely with Hiring Managers and People Business Partners to understand talent needs and align recruitment strategies with business objectives. You will design and implement end-to-end recruitment solutions that reflect contemporary talent acquisition methodologies and uphold public sector values.
In this role, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment practices, ensuring they are efficient, inclusive, and aligned with organisational goals. You'll collaborate across all levels of management to identify and attract high-quality candidates and lead merit-based selection processes aligned with Victorian Public Sector best practice.

About You
You're an experienced recruitment professional with a strong background in either in-house talent acquisition or RPO environments. You bring a deep understanding of end-to-end recruitment and are confident leading contemporary selection processes across a wide range of professional roles.
You're known for your ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, influence outcomes, deliver high-quality candidate experiences, whilst maintaining strong compliance and administrative documentation.
You'll be bringing:
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment within either a RPO or internal TA team.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practice and market trends.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.
- A track record of sourcing niche roles, mapping talent, and attracting passive candidates.
- Experience in coaching hiring managers and driving recruitment outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- High attention to detail and confidence managing administrative tasks and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated alignment with V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.
