About the role

As the Senior Analyst – Shell Card, you will work closely with the Shell Card leadership team, providing commercial and pricing support on strategic tenders, marketing campaigns, network development opportunities and business improvement initiatives.

You will be a strategic thinker, able to synthesize information quickly, make recommendations, working to a short timeframe, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Shell Card, you will join a dynamic team, who have a track record of performance and delivering strong year on year growth.

Your contributions

  • Pricing – Structuring strategy and pricing for large complex deals. Design and management of pricing models and tools. Margin analysis and investigation of under performing sites and customers.
  • Network – Negotiation of commercials terms & conditions with 3rd parties. Ownership of all data that support dealer refund system.
  • Operational Continuous Improvement – continually drive operational efficiencies, initiate projects, implement tools and automations to rectify functions for the Shell Card business.
  • Project Management – manage large/medium size business projects with inter departmental collaboration. Develop KPI's to monitor project success and provide ongoing management reporting
  • Technology – act as the product owner for the SHELL card IT systems/platforms, set priorities and manage projects

What we are looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in pricing, finance and deal making
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving change
