About the Role

As Managing Director, you are the growth catalyst and market leader driving our next wave of expansion. Leading by example you set the pace, opening enterprise doors, and leading a world-class team that wins and delivers high-impact AI engagements.

You unite strategy, sales, technology, and delivery under one vision: to make V2 AI the most trusted and dynamic AI consultancy in the enterprise market. You lead from the front, energising Partners, inspiring Industry Leads, and forging alliances that accelerate scale.

Your focus is growth, revenue, reach, and reputation in an AI native consultancy. You think big, move fast, and execute with precision. You balance bold ambition with the commercial discipline needed to turn opportunities into outcomes.

This is a role for a proven deal-maker and strategic leader who thrives on momentum, influence, and building lasting impact through people and performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Leadership & Growth
  • Set and own the company's commercial growth strategy across target industries, ensuring V2 AI is front-of-mind for enterprise AI transformation.
  • Lead, inspire, and coach Partners and Industry Leads to originate, shape, and close enterprise engagements.
  • Personally engage in major pursuits, opening executive doors, negotiating high-value agreements, and securing flagship wins.
  • Drive expansion across priority verticals (Financial Services &  Insurance, Energy & Utilities, Retail)
  • Translate market signals into decisive action, ensuring we're always ahead of customer demand and competitor movement.
  • Oversee performance rhythm across pipeline, forecasts, and growth metrics, ensuring consistent revenue momentum.
Strategic Relationships & Ecosystem Expansion
  • Strengthen C-suite relationships with key enterprise clients, building multi-year strategic partnerships that extend beyond single projects.
  • Expand and deepen alliances (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Databricks, Snowflake, and others), unlocking joint GTM opportunities.
  • Guide the Alliances Director in structuring co-sell, co-deliver, and co-market programs that amplify brand reach and deal flow.
  • Represent V2 AI as a thought leader in the AI ecosystem: on stage, in media, and within industry networks.
Leadership & Team Performance
  • Lead and align the executive team (Partners, Alliances Director, CTO, CMO, Head of Delivery, and Industry Leads) with an aligned mission.
  • Create a high-energy, outcomes-driven environment that rewards initiative, excellence, and collaboration in line with our culture & values.
  • Empower leaders to make  decisions and deliver with accountability.
Brand & Market Presence
  • Partner with the CMO to elevate our brand presence, ensuring our market perception matches our capability and ambition.
  • Position V2 AI as the consultancy enterprises turn to for AI outcomes that drive measurable business impact.
  • Drive a consistent narrative of innovation, leadership, and customer success in every channel, from boardrooms to industry events.

Role Requirements
  • Proven experience leading a fast-growing consulting or technology services business with $50M+ annual revenue.
  • Track record of driving $10M+ annual sales personally and leading teams that consistently exceed growth targets.
  • Deep relationships across enterprise markets - including within Financial Services, Insurance, and Energy & Utilities.
  • Demonstrated success shaping and closing multi-million-dollar Data, AI, or transformation programs.
  • Commercial fluency with strong negotiation, pricing, and deal-structuring capability.
  • Credibility with hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Databricks, Snowflake) that directly help in our ability to meet our alliance goals.
  • Inspirational leadership style that builds belief, accountability, and pace across diverse senior teams.
