Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist
Imagine stepping into a rehabilitation gym unlike anything you've ever seen before. No rows of outdated treadmills. No cookie-cutter programs. No "same-old, same-old" approach to recovery. Instead, picture a space alive with innovation: cutting-edge robotics, artificial intelligence-guided training systems, virtual reality immersion, and gamified rehab equipment that makes recovery engaging, motivating, and even fun.
This is not a dream. This is happening, right here in Australia, for the very first time. And you — as a forward-thinking, passionate Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist — have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join us at the ground floor of something extraordinary.
We are building Australia's first and only neuro-rehabilitation gym of its kind — a place where technology meets humanity, where science meets compassion, and where hope is rebuilt every single day. This is more than a job. This is a movement.
Why This Role Is Different
Most physics and OTs work within systems limited by traditional methods, outdated tools, and constrained thinking. But here, we've torn up the rulebook. We're asking bigger questions:
- What if rehab could be smarter, faster, and more engaging?
- What if clients could retrain their brains and bodies through neuroplasticity-driven programs enhanced by artificial intelligence?
- What if rehabilitation could be so immersive that clients forget they are "rehabbing" and instead feel like they are playing, achieving, and winning?
- What if technology could do what the human hand alone cannot — and you could guide it?
By joining us, you won't just be working in a gym. You'll be working at the intersection of neuroscience, technology, and human transformation. You'll be pioneering methods and using equipment that exists nowhere else in Australia.
About Us: Pioneering the Future of Rehab
We are a bold, forward-looking organisation determined to change the way Australia thinks about rehabilitation. We've partnered with global leaders in rehab technology, sourcing equipment that combines:
- Artificial Intelligence that adapts instantly to the client's progress.
- Robotics that assist and guide precise movements beyond what is possible in traditional therapy.
- Virtual Reality (VR) environments that immerse clients in motivating, stimulating worlds.
- Gamified Rehab Platforms that make every session a journey of progress, achievement, and reward.
No other facility in Australia — and very few globally — offers this combination of human expertise and technological innovation. This is more than a clinic. This is a living laboratory of neuroplasticity in action.
Your Role: A Pioneer in Neuroplasticity Rehabilitation
As an Exercise Physiologist with an interest in neuroplasticity, you will be:
- Designing and delivering cutting-edge rehabilitation programs for people living with neurological impairments.
- Harnessing AI-powered feedback systems to personalise therapy.
- Using robotics to assist clients in regaining movement once thought impossible.
- Guiding clients through virtual reality experiences that retrain the brain and body simultaneously.
- Supporting individuals funded by DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs), NIISQ (National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland), and NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), along with others living with neurological conditions.
- Most importantly, you'll be offering hope, empowerment, and measurable progress to people who may have been told "nothing more can be done."
- Part time, Full time, Casual and Contract Positions available
This is not just a clinical role. It is a role that asks you to be a pioneer, innovator, and changemaker.
Training in Neuroplasticity and Technology
You don't need to walk in the door as an expert in robotics or VR. What you need is passion, curiosity, and commitment. We will provide you with comprehensive training in:
- Principles of neuroplasticity and their practical application.
- How to operate and integrate our state-of-the-art AI, robotics, and VR systems.
- How to combine clinical exercise physiology with technology-driven rehab for maximum impact.
- Strategies for engaging and motivating clients through gamification.
By the time you complete your onboarding, you will be among the most technologically skilled rehabilitation Exercise Physiologists in Australia.
The Clients You'll Impact
Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, but they share one thing in common: they are on a journey of recovery and growth.
- Veterans (DVA clients): Many of our veterans live with neurological injuries, PTSD, or complex conditions. Your role will give them a chance to reclaim mobility, independence, and confidence.
- NIISQ clients: Individuals who have sustained life-changing injuries (such as traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury) and who require ongoing support.
- NDIS participants: Australians living with disability who are determined to maximise their functional independence and quality of life.
Every client who walks through our doors is seeking possibility — and with your guidance, they will find it.
Technology That Transforms Lives
Let's talk about what makes this gym extraordinary: the equipment. This is not therapy as you know it. This is:
- AI-driven rehabilitation platforms that adapt in real time.
- Robotic-assisted gait training that enables clients to walk again, even when unaided movement feels impossible.
- Virtual reality scenarios that retrain the brain while engaging the senses.
- Gamified equipment that turns repetition into motivation.
- Neurorehab tools that push the boundaries of what science thought possible.
This technology is exclusive to our facility. You won't find it in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or anywhere else in Australia. It's here, now — and you'll be one of the first clinicians to master it.
Why This Is a Career-Defining Opportunity
There are jobs, and then there are opportunities. This is an opportunity:
- To become a national leader in neuro-rehab innovation.
- To receive world-class training unavailable anywhere else in the country.
- To work with a team that believes in breaking barriers, not maintaining the status quo.
- To impact lives in ways that will stay with clients — and with you — forever.
Think about where your career could be in five years. Imagine being able to say: "I was part of the first wave of Exercise Physiologists in Australia to integrate AI, robotics, and VR into rehabilitation practice." That's the legacy you can create here.
What We're Looking For
We're not searching for the "average" OT or physio. We're searching for someone who:
- Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT or Physio
- Has a genuine passion for neuroplasticity and neurological rehabilitation.
- Previous experience in neurological rehabilitation preferred but not essential
- Is excited by technology and open to mastering new tools.
- Thrives on innovation, curiosity, and pushing boundaries.
- Can connect with clients with empathy, encouragement, and respect.
- Wants more than "just a job" — wants to change the game.
- Must hold or be willing to obtain National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
What We Offer You
- A unique, career-defining role in Australia's most innovative rehab facility.
- Full training in neuroplasticity and advanced rehabilitation technology.
- Mentorship and support from leaders in the field.
- Salary package aligned with your skills and experience, with room to grow as you grow.
- Ongoing professional development in areas no one else in Australia is teaching yet.
- A supportive, visionary team culture where innovation is celebrated.
The Team You'll Join
We are a team of innovators, clinicians, and visionaries who believe that the old ways of doing rehab are not enough. We believe in dreaming bigger, thinking differently, and never giving up on a client's potential.
Here, you won't be just another OT or physio. You'll be a trailblazer, problem-solver, and co-creator of a new future.
The Future of Neuro-Rehab Is Here — And It Needs You
Neuro-rehabilitation is changing. The old boundaries of what is possible are dissolving. Around the world, technology is transforming outcomes — and Australia is finally stepping into this new era.
The question is: do you want to be part of it? Do you want to be among the first in the nation to work hands-on with the technology and methods that are rewriting what recovery looks like? Do you want to be able to say, "I was there at the beginning"?
How to Apply
If you've read this far, you're exactly the kind of Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist we're looking for. You're someone who believes in possibility, innovation, and impact.
