About the opportunity
The patient services department are a dynamic, friendly team of over one hundred staff who provide administrative support to the clinical areas across the hospital. There are often many opportunities to grow and develop your career.
- The Administrative Officer plays an integral role in the functioning of MHW through the provision of exceptional customer service and administrative support.
- In this role, you will be required to have flexibility to work across a number of shifts including weekends and public holidays and the Christmas period.
- Availability at short notice is required as well as the capacity to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
- Attention to detail is necessary and intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn and utilise new software systems and programs as required.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
