About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Education Manager to lead educational delivery for the newly established Centre of Excellence - Future of Housing Construction . This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of housing construction education and contribute to Melbourne Polytechnic's reputation for innovation and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership and ensure high-quality VET program delivery
• Lead, coach, and mentor teaching staff to achieve excellence
• Manage program administration, timetables, rosters, and budgets
• Oversee compliance with RTO standards and regulatory requirements
• Engage with industry and stakeholders to validate and enhance training programs
• Drive continuous improvement strategies for student success

Skills and Experience Required

• AQF6+ qualification in adult or vocational education and training
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
• Relevant qualification in building/construction or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' industry experience in housing construction
• Demonstrated educational leadership and team management skills
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Knowledge of VET sector compliance and quality assurance

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• A National Police Check
