About the role

Anytime Fitness is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our growing team in Narrabeen NSW. This is a part-time role that will play a vital part in supporting the overall operations and member experience at our state-of-the-art fitness facility.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the gym

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to members

  • Coordinating and supervising the gym's staff, ensuring they are motivated and delivering high-quality service

  • Handling member inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner

  • Ensuring the gym maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety

  • Helping to promote the gym's services and special offers to attract new members

  • Participating in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies

  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as membership management and reporting

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the sport and recreation industry, preferably in a gym or fitness centre environment

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide an exceptional member experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

  • A passion for health, fitness, and a commitment to helping others achieve their wellness goals

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • A relevant qualification in sport and recreation management, fitness, or a related field would be highly desirable
