Opportunity:
As our Homeless Veterans’ Housing Manager, dedicated to the “Homes for Heroes” program, you will play a key and pivotal role in the ongoing success of the only dedicated program for homeless Veterans in NSW.

Our Veterans Services’ “Homes for Heroes” Program, is an initiative that ignites passionate responses for many across our community. We seek to provide care and support to veterans that are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to assist them to live sustainably and independently in their chosen community.

In this role, you’ll also:
- Be part program and part operations manager of this crucial housing service, guiding the day-to-day operations and on-going strategic planning of the “Homes for Heroes” program.- Manage a small team of dedicated and passionate people, just like you.- Work across our main site in Narrabeen, our head office in St Leonards and potentially other sites in the future.- Work closely in collaboration with third party organisations; community services organisations, housing organisations, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Mental Health organisations and other Government agencies.- Act as a change agent, initiating programs of change to evolve “Homes for Heroes” and take it to the next level of success.

You must have:
- Demonstrable experience with not-for-profit housing/ re-housing programs.- An empathetic, altruistic and caring demeanour and personality.- Passionate interest of and/ or knowledge of working with Veteran’s affairs.- Obvious leadership and operations management experience.- Prior exposure to working with relevant government agencies, like the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, would be highly desirable.We can offer you:
