Connect.Ed - Who Are We?

We are a small but mighty team delivering outreach support across metro Adelaide, and some regional areas.  We provide a trauma-informed approach to early intervention; making a difference to the lives of children and their caregivers.

At Connect.Ed we promote a regulatory and relationship-based approach to supporting children's learning and development.  

What does this role look like?

You will be working alongside your multidisciplinary team to deliver assessment and therapeutic interventions for children and their families.  Our team works very closely with the team around the child (caregivers/educators/other professionals) to develop and implement strategies that ensure continuity of support.

We offer support in environments where children feel safe and supported.  As such, therapy may be delivered at early childhood services, schools, homes or even in the community.  You would require access to your own vehicle (but will be reimbursed for any work related travel).

Are you the right fit?

  • Bachelor's or Masters in Occupational Therapist
  • Working With Children's Check, as well as Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate
  • Valid drivers license and access to reliable vehicle
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be friendly and approachable
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
  • Willingness to learn trauma-informed practices
