About the role

Rennie Construction and Civil is seeking an experienced Civil operator to join our team based in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full-time role where you will play a key part in the execution of our construction projects, assisting and operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate a range of plant and machinery including excavators, combos , dozers , graders, moxies
  2. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plant and equipment
  3. Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  4. Support project and site managers in planning and scheduling work activities
  5. Provide input into the day to day activities to achieve efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a final trim operator in a civil construction environment for graders and excavators or possi tracks
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a final trim operator is required
  3. Competent in operating a range of heavy plant and machinery
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and work effectively in a team
  5. Commitment to safety and quality standards
  6. Relevant construction industry tickets and licences
  7. White Card certification is required
  8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  9. Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application
