Carborough Downs Coal Mine is located approx. a 30 min drive from Moranbah QLD. This is our Bord and Pillar operation and the Site Administrator position provides critical general administration support across various departments on site and is our key "go-to" for our underground crews and on-site staff.

Some of the tasks you will be responsible for are below:

  • Responsible for inputting production data for each shift's activities working closely with operational staff to ensure timely and accurate inputs into the site system;

  • Ownership of the on-site roster, ensuring that all employee movements such as leave etc are maintained in real time and work closely with HR and operational Superintendents to resolve any queries;

  • Assist with onboarding of new employees including organising uniforms and locker allocations;

  • Scanning, collating and filing a range of paperwork for the day-to day mine site activities, including timesheets, general forms, training documents, and raising purchase requisitions;

  • Manage shared email inboxes and ensure that all queries are answered efficiently;

  • Take charge of arranging on-site BBQ's, morning teas and visitor arrangements.

What we need from you

  • Being located in Moranbah is preferred, but we will consider applications from Mackay, however residential applicants will receive first preference.

  • Previous experience in a broad mining administration is highly regarded, but not essential.

  • Having demonstrated experience with knowing your way around Excel and Outlook is going to be highly regarded at interview stage.

  • Willingness to learn

  • Be approachable – this is a "hands-on" position and will see you interact with loads of our staff and underground workers.

  • Having a positive can-do attitude is critical to the success of this position and its contribution to our team.
